| In the days of 30 years ago, mechanical governors
are used to control the speed of the turbine. The mechanical Governors are taking more power
to rotate the governing system itself. The governor components are large in size according to
the torque of the steam pressure and valve size. Hence the Governor manufacturers developed

What is hydro mechanical Governor
|
|
Hydro mechanical governors are designed with a
self-contained oil pump and oil tank. The pump is driven by the turbine main shaft and the
pump generates high oil pressure, hence increasing the torque to operate the different torque
steam valves. The components are also small in size. Hydro mechanical governors are highly
reliable and can be understood and serviced by expert mechanical personnel. Periodic service
extends the governor's life beyond 50 years or until the turbine discarded or damaged.

PMGS was started in 1993 and service and
calibration of sugar mill turbine governors fitted to mill turbines and power turbines. We
have a large number of sugar mill clients across India.
We are also providing genuine spares and repair the Governor with warranty. The old spares
will be returned to customers. We have a test bench to calibrate all types of governors after
service. The test stand stimulates the Governor operation as it is in the Plant.
